Desert Gold Ventures Inc. is a gold exploration and development company with properties in Mali and Cote d’Ivoire. At its 440 km² SMSZ Project in western Mali the company is building a gravity processing plant at Barani with a design capacity of 200 tonnes per day. Plant and generator reached the site in 2026, commissioning is planned through late October and ramp-up for November, with initial gold recovery targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026. No mineral reserves have been established at Barani. The portfolio also includes the 297 km² Tiegba Gold Project in the Birimian greenstone belt of Cote d’Ivoire.
